Armenian Dialects: Commonality in Differences

On August 5, as part of the first day of the Second Armenian National Youth Forum, “Shared Vision and Unified Efforts” theme, an interactive session titled “Armenian Dialects: Commonality in Differences” was held where speakers explored the diversity of the Armenian language—from Eastern to Western Armenian—and addressed current issues around preserving and developing the language in today’s reality.

Speakers included: Ejmin Hatamian, Diaspora Youth Ambassador in Iran; Kev Orkian, comedy pianist and entertainer; Arman “Antic” Margarian, comedian; and Anelga Hajjar, digital content creator.

The discussion was moderated by Arpen Cinar, a Western Armenian language teacher and digital content creator.
