Youth Engagement in Policy, Advocacy & Governance

On August 6, the second day of the Second Armenian National Youth Forum continued under the theme “Meaningful and Sustainable Engagement” with a panel discussion titled “Youth Engagement in Policy, Advocacy and Governance,” bringing together leaders from Armenia and the diaspora who shared their experiences and emphasized why it’s essential for young people to be actively involved in shaping public life and influencing political decisions.

The panel featured: Sevag Hadjekian, Social Media Coordinator at the Lebanese Presidency; Silva Sahakian, Diaspora Youth Ambassador in France; Advisor in International Relations and European Affairs, Departments of France; Diana Chodžajanová, Diaspora Youth Ambassador in the Czech Republic and Brno City Council Member; and Mariam Khaloyan, Congressional Relations Director at the Armenian Assembly of America.

The discussion was moderated by journalist and TV host Astghik Sargsian.
